Natural stone granules mixed with a clear resin binder and trowelled across a prepared substrate to form one seamless, subtly textured floor. It looks like stone, feels warmer than tile underfoot and has no joints for dirt to collect in.
Yes — correctly sealed, the floor is waterproof and naturally slip-resistant, and the absence of grout lines removes the usual mould traps. Bathrooms and wet rooms are among the rooms we install most often.
The rapid-cure system we install takes foot traffic roughly forty-five minutes after application. Full cure for heavy use takes a little longer, but most rooms are back in normal service the same day.
Usually. Sound tile, screed and concrete substrates can be levelled, primed and overlaid, which avoids the mess and cost of ripping the old floor out. We assess the substrate during the site visit.
Vacuum or sweep it like any hard floor and mop with a neutral cleaner. The sealed, jointless surface gives dirt nowhere to lodge, and the UV-stable resin will not discolour with sunlight or routine cleaning.
